Getting Started
RANQD is a club management platform for racket sports clubs. It handles player ratings, fixture generation, division management, and result tracking - all in one place.
Tap Sign In in the top-right corner and enter your username and PIN. Your club admin will have given you these when they set up your account. If you've forgotten your details, use the Forgot login details? link on the sign-in screen - we'll email your username to you. If you need further help, use the Support option in the menu to raise a request.
New players are added by a club admin or Super Admin. Once you've been added to a division, you'll be able to sign in and see your fixtures and rating. Ask your club coordinator if you haven't received your login details yet.
Your rating is a live number that reflects your performance relative to other players in your club. It goes up when you beat higher-rated opponents and down when you lose to lower-rated ones. All new players start at a base rating of 3.000 - from there, every match shapes your number.
No installation required. RANQD runs entirely in your web browser on any device - phone, tablet, or desktop. Just open the link your club shares and you're good to go. You can add it to your home screen for quick access.
The public view lets anyone see current standings, rankings, and fixtures without logging in. Signing in as a player gives you access to your personal profile, match history, and rating graph. Admins get additional tools to manage players, generate fixtures, and record results.
Fixtures & Results
Fixtures are created by your club admin using the Generate Fixtures tool. The system builds a balanced round-robin schedule for each division and automatically sorts matches by combined player rating - so the strongest match always goes on Court 1.
Head to the Fixtures tab and select your division. Each week tab shows the date of that session. Your name will appear in the relevant match pairings.
Results are entered by your admin after each session. If a week shows no results yet, they may not have been recorded. Once entered, results appear instantly and ratings update automatically.
A green dot means every match in that week has been played and a result recorded. No dot means the week is in progress or results are still pending.
Weeks automatically lock 7 days after the session date to preserve result integrity. Locked weeks cannot be edited by anyone - including admins. This is by design to maintain a fair and tamper-proof record.
Matches in RANQD can be played as best-of sets. The scores shown are the individual set scores. Your admin sets the format for your club - if you're unsure what format you're playing, check with them.
Yes - sign in and visit your Player Profile. It shows every recorded match, your result, your opponent's rating at the time, and how each result moved your rating.
Divisions & Promotion
At the end of a season, the top-ranked players in each division are promoted to the one above, and the bottom-ranked players are relegated to the one below. The number of promotion and relegation spots per division is set by your club admin in the Division Settings.
On the Progression page, ↑ UP (green) means you are currently in a promotion spot, and ↓ DOWN (red) means you are in a relegation spot. These update live as results come in throughout the season.
No - each player belongs to one division at a time. Division placement is managed by your admin.
Your rating carries with you when you are promoted or relegated. This ensures continuity and means you're immediately placed appropriately within your new division's competitive landscape.
There is no strict limit. Most clubs run 2–4 divisions (e.g. Division 1, 2, 3). The Super Admin can create and name divisions however they like.
Ratings & Rankings
Ratings update instantly the moment a result is recorded by your admin. There is no delay or batch processing - what you see on the rankings page is always live.
The W (green) and L (red) badges show your last 5 match results, oldest to newest left-to-right. It's a quick snapshot of recent form.
Ratings are relative to your opponent. Beating a player rated well below you earns a small gain - you were expected to win. Losing to a lower-rated player costs more points. The bigger the rating gap, the bigger the swing.
All new players begin at a base rating of 3.000. From your very first match, every result shifts your rating up or down based on the outcome and your opponent's rating.
Yes - your Player Profile includes a rating history graph showing every recorded movement.
The Rankings page (accessible from the top nav without logging in) shows all players in each division ranked by current rating, highest to lowest.
Account & Profile
Yes - sign in and navigate to My Profile. There's an option to update your PIN.
Basic profile details like your display name can be updated from your Profile page once signed in. If you need to change your username, ask your club admin.
Rankings, match results, and ratings are visible to everyone - including the public view without logging in. Your personal contact details are only visible to admins.
If a payment fails, a Payment Required banner appears and the account enters a grace period - full access continues while payment is retried. If the subscription is not renewed, the account is suspended and data is kept safely for 90 days. After 90 days the data is permanently deleted. Click Complete Payment in the banner to resolve it at any time.
All league data is stored within the app and is only accessible to members and admins of your club. RANQD does not share your data with third parties.
For Admins
Go to Admin → Players and click + Add Player. Enter their name, username, email, phone number and PIN - all required. Share the username and PIN with the player so they can sign in. Adding a player puts them on your roster; to put them in a league, select that league from the League Members dropdown and use + Enrol Player to place them into a division.
Go to Schedule in the top nav, pick the league tab and the week, then type the scores into the two boxes on each match - RANQD saves automatically after a short pause and a ✓ confirms it. Ratings update instantly. The ⋯ menu on a match also lets you record a walkover, retirement or default, clear a result, or edit who's playing. (Team-league fixtures open a four-rubber result modal instead.)
Yes - as long as the week is not locked (within 7 days of the session date). After 7 days the week locks automatically and cannot be changed.
The Super Admin has full access to every part of RANQD - including theme settings, subscription management, player roles, audit logs, and the ability to create or delete divisions and leagues.
Use the Support option in the menu to send a support request directly to the RANQD team. You can use this for any issue - including forgotten login details, billing questions, or technical problems.
Yes - go to Admin → FAQs. You can create categories and add as many questions and answers as you like. These appear under the Club FAQs tab on the public FAQ page.

Billing & Subscription
A free trial runs on the Play plan for your primary sport, with no credit card required. Trials are arranged by the RANQD team rather than started automatically - the standard is 30 days, and we can extend or shorten it. At the end of the trial, you can subscribe to any plan to continue.
Your account is locked and you will be notified by email. Your data is kept safely for 90 days - subscribe before then to restore full access. After 90 days your data is permanently deleted.
The only difference is the number of sports: Play covers 1 sport, Compete covers up to 3 sports, Elite covers all 6 sports. All plans include unlimited leagues, all league formats, DUPR integration and custom branding.
Yes - use the Upgrade Subscription button in Settings to move to a higher plan. To downgrade, contact RANQD support. Note that downgrading to Play or the free trial will disable sports beyond the plan limit.
Yes. Switching from monthly to annual takes effect at your next billing date. Switching from annual to monthly takes effect at your next annual renewal.
We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
We support GBP (£), EUR (€), and USD ($). Your currency is set from the country you choose at signup - clubs in the UK are billed in pounds, clubs in the eurozone in euros, and everywhere else in US dollars. Prices are set separately in each currency rather than converted, so the figure you are shown is the figure you are charged. Your currency is fixed when your club is created and does not change afterwards, even if a plan later gains a price in a different one.
If a payment fails, your account enters a grace period - full access continues while the payment is automatically retried. A Payment Required banner is shown to Super Admins. If the retry also fails, the account is suspended. You can resolve this at any time by clicking Complete Payment in the banner.
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime - no refund for the current month but no further charges after cancellation. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable - cancelling retains access until end of the current period with no partial refund. Contact RANQD support to initiate a cancellation.
You retain full access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account is locked and your data is kept safely for 90 days. Resubscribe within that window to restore full access. After 90 days your data is permanently deleted.
